Edited by Captain Jules:
The votes are in and the largest number of travelers will be able to make the jump on June 27th.
Details: http://www.coloradorenaissance.com/ Faire open 10:00am to 6:30pm Admission: $17.95(adults) - $8.00(children ages 5-12) ($2 off coupons can be found at Wendy's) Directions: http://www.coloradorenaissance.com/Directions.html
Us Steampunks will gather at the Pirate's Pub at 11am. From there we will wander the faireground. If you are late or lost, call Jules at 719-477-3072 to find us.
For those who don't know where the Pirate's Pub is, I've included this map:

A few things to remember:
- Traffic going to faire can be bad. Plan on adding about 30 minutes onto your traveling time to get through Larkspur and into the faireground.
- Stay well hydrated. Sneak in water if you can, as if can be expensive.
- Bring plenty of money for food. It's not cheap.
- Dress to impress! We don't want the primitives thinking futureman is sloppy.
Finally, after the faire has ended, we we venture to the Larkspur Pizzeria to partake in pizza and commemorate a successful expedition into the past.

Julian and I have been discussing the possibility of taking a trip to the Renaissance in order to test the Temporal Drive--or alternatively the mettle of our Chronological Navigator and Temporal Artificer. I understand many of our crew are from Merry Old England and may find this trip educational, provided we can tear ourselves away from the ale and wenches. (Aside: I am sure this is wishful thinking as we are Pirates, however it is fun to pretend once in a while I suppose.) I am including the preceding poll to get a general consensus of the crew's availability so we can clear up our busy schedules for some ground time--some time ago. Please note, these are the only weekends I am told we will be able to travel through the Time Corridors to this particular period. If possible, feel free to pick 2-3 weekends so we can maximize our attendance as it is best to travel through time in numbers. I myself believe I have been--er... will be... wioll haven been? Excuse my terrible time traveling grammar. I will wioll have been there am and cannot attend at this point in my current timeline first and last weekends--in the interest of not destroying the time-space continuum and generally annihilating the universe. http://www.coloradorenaissance.comMs. Knightly has asked us to remember a few simple rules to avoid a universe-rending time paradox: 1. Do not feed, harm, or otherwise do anything untoward to the natives. 2. Do not take any items back with us that may be important to the timeline. 3. Please bear in mind any dates you will wioll haven been there am at. Above all, please remember. Anything that happens, happens. Anything that, in happening, causes something else to happen causes something else to happen. Anything that, in happening, causes itself to happen happens again. All of this, however, doesn't necessarily happen in chronological order.

I will request that no one choose the last weekend, as that will be Zeke and Charlotte's wedding, and thus will cut our numbers in half.
Also, are we to do a single day that weekend, or both days? If we do a single day, I would request a Sunday, but that's me personally and my will can be bent to fit the needs of others.
Also also, perhaps after our time-travails are complete, we could gather at a local dining establishment or the abode of one of our troupe in order to celebrate our safe return to the present. We'll need to be sure to bring back with us one of my favourite dessert dishes of the Italian Renaissance, a type of pie called "pete-za" or such.

I have edited the poll--Zeke's wedding is one of the weekends I will have be there am, as well.
Also I should advise against the weekend of July 4-5. This is childrens' weekend, and I do not abide by the little wretches. The renaissance is dirty enough as it is.

*actually laughs out loud* well said, old chap! i hope i'm not inviting myself, but i *so* want to observe the natives, flora, fauna, et c., in their original habitat. {: / alas, i categorically cannot do anything june 19-21: there is a convention of autovelocipedal-conveyance enthusiasts of simply staggering proportions here in the Queen City, and it lasts all weekend. the entire Lost Fleet will be there, so that rules out three-possibly-four of us at least. i *have* talked to a few people IRL who murmured in favor of opening weekend, and i'm in the earlier-the-better camp myself: our sartorial splendor can be a little warmish. can i bribe the committee somehow? i make an excellent [potion, cookie, tea, alibi on the witness stand]. i remain as ever-

Kenneth seems to have gotten mixed up with a gang of pirates calling themselves the Rogues, and I will be doing reconnaissance work, pretending to be a renaissance commoner slaving away under the faire's game master.
However, there's nothing that says there can't be two trips there, hosted by the other group and the Wings of Steam, respectivley. Perhaps that would be necessary to satisfy the largest number?

I personally need to refrain from any weekend involving the opening of major theatrical events. So the weekend of June 27, July 4, & July 11. But the sooner we can come to a decision the better I'm sure it will be.

Well, I plan to be making a jump there for the entire summer. Lucky for me, I know a friend the knows a friend that knows a guy with his own device. So you should see me in the time period cleverly disguised as one of the locals. I have been making this jump for years now, and always manage to land a job as a "Push monkey" I believe is the proper term?

well, there's certainly no rule that one can't go twice. i think i might go with a small number opening weekend just to scout the ground.
